Rue de Damas, Chemin de Rencontre The French Protestant Church of Beirut in partnership with l'Orient le Jour is pleased to invite you to the inauguration of the photo exhibition "Rue de Damas, Chemin de Rencontre”
From the 14th to the 22nd of June, a public photo exhibition will take place on the theme: “Rue de Damas, Chemin de Rencontre” will take place at the French Protestant cemetery on Damascus Road.
Captured from the origins of photography to our mobiles, these twenty-two images tell the narrative of a place full of history and passion. Located at the outskirts of the city until the beginning of the 20th century Damascus Road, in the course of the urban developments, became, a street, a center, a line in the city of Beirut …

Damascus Road is again the founding meeting of Saul of Tarsus with Christ at the origins of Christianity. A Symbolic place of all the salutary movements towards more humanity and fraternity, Damascus road is presented here as a way of meeting.

The inauguration will take place Friday, June 14 at 18:30 in the garden of Damascus Road, in the presence of Philippe Aractingi, Patrick Baz and Georges Boustany, filmmakers, photographers, and collectors, passionate about image and writing. We thank the daily East-the-Day for its support without which this event would have remained confidential. Meeting place: French Protestant Cemetery, rue de Damas (SODECO, in front of Moulin d’Or).

Exhibition Opening: Friday, June 14 at 6:30 pm
Location: French Protestant Cemetery, rue de Damas (SODECO, in front of Moulin d’Or).
