Karbala Photography Club seeks to bring together photography practitioners in Iraq and the holy city of Karbala to provide space for creativity and to exchange technical, intellectual and technological expertise in this field. Through advocacy and participation in local and international forums.

The modern cultural renaissance in Iraq has not only come from the oil industries, but from the social and cultural genres derived from the ancient civilizations that passed on Mesopotamia with the development and prosperity of the cultural movement has become a need for a group of young people to occupy a vacuum in the modern photographic arena in Iraq, The establishment of Karbala Photography Club in 2013, to be a civil institution with an official entity concerned with the art of photography in Iraq, and will be a cultural forum featuring a selection of distinguished artists from the billions and Iraqis from different areas of photography.
